After an ominous "If there's time ..." the action picks up from last season. Travis recognizes the Mustangs attacking the shpod so he and Trip fly away. Cinephile Nazis escort Archer, with his burns healed nicely, in a personnel truck. There's an ambush to show it really is Hollywood and Archer escapes. Aboard the beaten-up NX-01 Silik emerges from a corridor ceiling. T'Pol and Trip discuss his assitude and he apologizes for being way out of line (some three years late!). Phlox tries to cheer up Porthos with chicken liver and grated cheddar but the threat of a lullaby makes him crawl away.

Back in 1944 a shirtless Archer is sponge-bathed by his new friend Alicia. Swastikas hang on the White House - go figure - as human Nazi complains about receiving nothing but films for their trouble. Who knows what lurks in the heart of Evil Alien Nazis? "The Shadow knows ..." they just need a few tons of supplies to build nasty firesticks. Daniels escapes from a remake of "The Elephant Man" long enough to stagger into SickBay. We meet other mobster stereotypes we'll never see or care about again. But Archer recognizes Billie Holiday!

One EAN berates another for losing the prisoner from the orbiting ship from another time period. Archer, who is from upstate New York (nice line), seeks a gray-skinned red eyed non-human. Hey, Sal's seen one of those! Archer confronts Sal's EAN and takes his communicator as EAN is filled with bullet holes. Silik melts out of Trip's arms and steals a shpod; Travis and Trip track it but are captured after blowing up a few dogs. Trapped in an alleyway Archer contacts the ship and beams Alicia and himself up, where Hoshi gives him a hug and T'Pol looks t'pouty. Daniels dies- nah, we can't be that lucky- after explaining that the EAN's are fanatics violently opposed to Temporal Accords. (After all Daniels' mucking who can blame them?) EAN overlooks a big room containing a stealthy temporal subway station and we get to endure another hour of this torture.

All in all, nothing new: A terrible story accompanied by impressive effects (have we mentioned how wasted the Suliban are?). There's a line from Silik - "What's happening is beyond your comprehension." In other words, audience, you are stupid. What's really beyond comprehension is why Trek has been intentionally driven to such stunningly stagnant levels. Push the reset button and let's get on with whatever might be salvaged from these last three misspent years.
