A "News on Parade" newsreel shows Hitler's visit to America and the joint "Fight for Freedom." (Excellent satire throughout here.) Aboard NX-01 Archer informs Alicia about his two missing men. She offers to assist even though they'll have to use the "dissolving thing" again. The Evil Alien Nazi Time Toy fails, and suddenly their captives become valuable. Vosk orders them released from aggressive questioning that leaves few marks. Silik drops (how'd he get there?) but we fade and are supposed to forget him.

A talky Reed discusses historical changes as Vosk calls with an invite. Archer and two Sharks beam down (standing far apart out of that tiny transporter?) to recover their crewmates. Vosk explains some Temporal Nonsense about Daniels' tyrannical sect manipulating the timeline to suit their needs. In Sickbay Phlox scans "Trip" and determines it's Silik in disguise; he gets zapped trying to escape. Back in NYC Carmine and Alicia discuss Nazi Martians and he invokes her loyalty to them. In the brig Silik notices that Archer's style has changed, "And not at all for the better."

The EAN's fire potshots at NX-01 using a wickedly cool Nazi plasma cannon. T'Pol employs a primitive human superstition wishing them good luck recovering Trip, busy being resourceful trying to escape. With the counterattack underway the Nazi commander gives the EAN's six hours to help, whereas they decide their better destiny is to flee. Silik (disguised as John Fleck) remarks how he felt humans were "inherently unaggressive" and hilariously confronts Carmine: "Are you threatening me?" They break into Conduit Compound as a streetfight distracts the Nazis. Silik fights impressively but catches a few bullets and dies; he declares Archer a "worthy opponent" but "I suppose I can settle for this." (Well I can't! I'm going to miss that snotty spotty chap. Please bring him back!)

T'Pol takes the ship in for a dogfight as Trip and Archer reunite. They blow up the Conduit, Vosk dies, Daniels reappears (told you!) and a silly slide show of history fixes the timeline (a.k.a. RESET). "It's been a privilege," and maybe now we're finally through with him. NX-01 approaches Earth as one big happy fleet comes out to meet them. However, after wasting three years and two episodes on the Temporal Cold Bath, after the ragging critics and sagging ratings, I actually did not despise this episode. I like Coto's style (though it's not without a few painful lines) but, for once in a long time, have renewed hope that this series may be saved.
