Configure ship MFD's as shown, AGMFD in the left and ORBIT (ref VENUS) in the right.

Click TGT until the "Target" reads "Venus" and a direct path appears as a dashed cyan line, almost directly overhead.

LAUNCH


Increase hover thrust for a gentle ascent. At a few hundred meters click ABT to zero all thrusters.

Click HLD to assign attitude control to AGMFD. The "Target" indicator changes from red to yellow as RCS seeks and changes from yellow to green when locked.

Click ENG to engage main thrusters.
