COURSE ADJUSTMENTS


As your ship gains speed the flight path indicator (Velocity Vector) will drift into view.

As the VV nears Venus click the DIR button to change the target path reference to PRO. (Use Orbiter's visual helper if you can't see the planet.) Your ship should settle into its approach path.

Click CEN until the display centers on Venus. Use the zoom controls to keep your orange trajectory into view.

Click HLD to release automatic attitude control. The Target indicator goes red to indicate lack of hold.

Yaw your ship (gently if you're on time warp!) in the plane of the Venus but opposite the VV.

Watch the PeT indicator. Click HLD to re-engage automatic attitude control at your desired approach distance.
